Delivering an inclusive response to the global food security crisis
Every person, regardless of their identity, is instrumental to the transformation of their own societies. That idea – of inclusive development – is at the heart of Feed the Future’s work to end hunger, poverty and malnutrition. Today, a perfect storm of factors is threatening global food security – from the pandemic, devastating climate shocks and now Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. For countries to prosper, we must empower women, youth and members of marginalized groups to capitalize on opportunities in agriculture and become active changemakers in their communities. Read on to learn more about how Feed the Future is driving global efforts by investing in, working with and supporting local voices and prioritizing equity and equality in our response, ensuring our efforts are more impactful, benefit more people and strengthen resilience for all.
